Student Activities Wrap Up

As we wrap up another successful year of student activities, we would like to congratulate all the recent UCF Graduates!  Good luck in your future endeavors and we hope to see you around ASHRAE next year.

Thank you to the UCF Senior Design participants for all of their hard work on this year’s challenging design competition.  All three teams did a great job with their projects and we hope you enjoyed the rigorous introduction to the world of HVAC.

Thank you to Anik Patel for your dedication to Student Activities this year. We appreciate all the hard work you put in. We wish you well in your Treasurer position next year.

As we say goodbye to Anik, we’d like to welcome the incoming SA Chair, Nate Boyd.  Nate is a recent graduate from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering.  He was the ASHRAE UCF Student Chapter President last year and the team leader for the UCF design team entry in the ASHRAE International Design Competition.  He has over 12 years experience in the building automation and controls industry and is the new Energy Project Manager for the City of Orlando.  Nate is a registered E.I. with the Florida Board of Professional Engineers, as well as a LEED Accredited Professional.  We are glad to have you Nate!
