CRC 2010 – Good Job ASHRAE CFL !

This year on top of hosting the winter meeting, our chapter hosted the Region XII CRC (Chapters RegionalConference). The Central Florida chapter truly has some amazing and dedicated people that putmany hours into the planning of this event. Thank you Mike Dillard, Wade Conlan and all of the CRCplanning committee for all of your leadership in pulling this event together! I’d also like to thank all of our sponsors for makingthis event possible.

The technical program and welcome party started off this year’s CRC. Friday was comprised of an all day regional businesssession, which was followed by the awards banquet. With everyone’s hard work this year, the following awards were accepted:

Healthcare Facilities (Existing): Peninsula Engineering for Winter Park Memorial Hospital CEP

Commercial Buildings (Existing): Peninsula Engineering for Sanford International Airport

Commercial Buildings (New): X-nth for Ritz Carlton Resort in Charlotte, NC

Chapter Awards:

Best Chapter Website – Megan Tosh.

Best Refrigeration Chair – Cameron Sherwood.

Best CTTC – solid team effort lead by John Davant.

Gold Ribbon for History Award – Tim Citek.

Best Student Activities – Anik Patel did an outstanding job this year and led the students to a first place win in the international student design competition

And finally, Best Chapter in Region XII for Central Florida!!!

This would not have been possible without an unbelievable amount of hard work and dedication from a dream team of individuals.
