Welcome back Members! We are excited for another great year with the Central Florida Chapter.
Last year we focused on retaining our members in a tough economy and had great success. This year, we’re looking to kick it up a notch and grow our membership! If you still need to become an ASHRAE member, or if you know someone who does, this is the year to finally sign up.
There are different levels of membership for you to choose from when you join ASHRAE. During the workshops at CRC this August, we reviewed costs and member benefits at each level. I’d like to share with you some updates that we received:
| Member Grade/Type | Qualifications | Yearly Dues |
| Member | 12 Society-approved years | $180.00 |
| Associate | Anyone who isn’t a Student or a new member | $180.00 |
| Affiliate | New Members who were never a Student Member | $50.00 year one $70.00 year two $90.00 year three |
| Student | Full-time Student in approved course of study | $20.00 |
*Chapter dues for all Central Florida Members is $40.00 annually
Of course this does not include Fellows or Life Members. For more information on all grades of ASHRAE membership, please visit www.ashrae.org/members.
We look forward to working with all of you again this year. All of the members will be hearing from the Membership Promotion committee by the middle of October in an effort to make sure we have all your correct information to make sure you are getting the emails and newsletters and all other important information on Membership Upgrades and Renewals.
