This December, our chapter will be hosting Dennis Knight, PE, as he presents Building Information Modeling for Mechanical Disciplines. The presentation will focus on the value and uses of BIM for owners, architects, engineers and the community. Mr. Knight will provide a consistent definition of BIM and the information mechanical engineers need to begin adopting BIM as an integrated design tool. If you are working on integrated design projects, or want to be, this presentation is not to be missed!

Also at our December meeting, we will be celebrating our chapter’s history! If you regularly read this newsletter and attend the dinner meetings, you’ve probably been learning some of our chapter history this year already. As this ASHRAE year is the 50th anniversary of our chapter, our president, John Miller, has dedicated his presidential theme to history! The programs committee will be embracing this theme at our December meeting with a special presentation.
